I just revamped my new fish tank to put new fish in it. I haven’t had any new fish in several years. I now have a few in my tank. I had to sell my African killer frog so he wouldn’t eat all the new fish. Now I have two loach fish, which look a little like snakes or eels, I had two Gouramis and one died. I have two newts which I really like because I still think there is something magical about salamanders. I had four tiger salamanders for about 27 years. They died. Now I have 2 red bottom newts.

One of my Gouramis died so I bought two neon tetras. I have
noticed that one of the loaches hangs out with one of the newts. I had to
wonder—“do fish adopt pets as humans do?” When I thought about it, I decided
the fish probably noticed that the newt is good at finding food, so maybe that
is why they seem to be together a lot. On the other hand, maybe fish and
salamanders find other species of animals interesting as humans and cats do.
Why assume the worst or most boring answers. I think I will use my imagination
and believe that fish and salamanders are curious as humans are.

Newts we got
We got 'em dewy
Left 'em in the yard all night
Hope they didn't get uptight

The saucy little vixens
I hope they didn't get pissed off
I hope
