Since my killer gourami killed off most of the
mosquitofish I had, I bought three new gouramis. I bought two blue (AKA two
spot) gouramis and one gold one to go with the gold one I already had. This
time all the fish got along OK. No fights. The new ones all caught on quick as
to where the food was each day that I fed them. Unfortunately one died today. It
is one of the new blue gouramis. It is not unusual for new fish to die. They
rarely die when they get used to the tank, but new ones don’t always adjust OK.
So now I have a
happy community take with three gouramis the two bottom feeders (loaches) and
two newts. Yippie.
