X-mas Eve- I just got home from a family Christmas event at my nieces house, Jenny. We had a fine time.
X-mas Day- It was like, suddenly there was this elf near my Christmas tree and I knew there was magic in the season. (Totally a product of my imagination.)

I woke up today, groggy with sleep and I stumbled to my couch, squinched down in it and clicked on Channel 10 to see Good Morning America. And to my not-so-surprising surprise...I was clobbered by super crass consumerism. Constant stories about how to set my TV for all those new electronic gismo gifts I never got nor wanted. And a whole segment on how to get started with my new drone (as if anyone really needs that crap). The show should have been called "Rich kids and their toys." It really made me sick. So I clicked over to Channel 3 and found a different early morning Christmas news and entertainment show. It was less nauseating. Hope everyone has a happy Christmas/Solstice or whatever.
I had a fine day, fist eating lunch with friends, Mary and Roger Peach, Carroll June, Starla and Jerry at Golden Corral. Then I hung out with my dad at his house and at I Hop for dinner. He gave me some old photos and showed my his journal book. Here we see my brother John, my dad Jack and my wife, Cam.
