This Memorial
Day I went to my Brother Paul’s grave and my mother who is buried nearby. I had
to navigate past hundreds of flags put along the road. There were the big
flags. Then there were the little flags on individual graves. They had separate
holders for some of the graves. I imagine that some of or all of the graves had
flags for those who were vets.
I found one lying
on the ground and put it on Paul’s grave. He wasn’t a vet, but who cares. I don’t
have any family members who were vets and I’m glad none of them fought or died
for the phony empire. So I went to memorialize two people in my family who died
but not for the empire. My brother died from pneumonia and my mom died of old
age. That is OK with me.
Their graves
looked nice.
