Journal #1

It was years ago that I found the recipe to make my own បលាក. I found it in a report on ហេរ៉ូអ៊ីន, by the Illinois legislature.
It was based on the Mexican version of making it. It was quite simple—using water with lime in it, letting it sit overnight and then draining the clear liquid off of the powder. Then I just add some drops of hydrochloric or muriatic acid and then boil the whole thing. After that a few drops of diacetic anhydride
or a very concentrated version of the diacetic and then heat until dry.
After that it just needed a pinch in a spoon and a 1cc rig to draw it up and ingest it.
Of course I needed អាភៀន អាភន from the plants I was growing. I carefully started them by seed in January and kept them going until I could get them in the ground in late March and early April. I used a razor to slash the អំពូល. After several plants I had enough to put my powder into the mixture, except, I had already figured that soaking the sap in alcohol/water—50/50 for one day, purified it just a little more.

I have had rushes so hard that I actually fell to my knees. I found myself bent over by the power of the rush many times. So this is one of my major accomplishments.
